What are they?

Each year in the autumn, Alexandra Rose Day organises a Raffle.

The first three prizes are £2,000, £1,000 and £500 in cash, with a number of runners up
prizes.
How do we benefit?

Your charity or voluntary organisation takes as many books of tickets as you hope to
sell.

Your members and supporters sell the tickets and your organisation banks the proceeds.

Your organisation sends the ticket counterfoils and only 20% of the proceeds to
Alexandra Rose Day.

The remaining 80% is pure profit for your organisation.
What else do we need to know?

There are no minimum charges and no hidden costs. The only money due to Alexandra Rose
Day is 20% of the value of the tickets sold – after they have been sold.
Why does Alexandra Rose Day do this?

Since its foundation in 1912, its main purpose has been to help the smaller local
charities and voluntary groups raise money for themselves. It has no clients of its
own.
